Dr. Christopher C. Hennon, Ph.D.
I am a board certified consulting meteorologist (CCM, #747) who works with a variety of private and government clients on an array of legal and research projects. As a trained atmospheric scientist specializing in tropical cyclones and satellite data, I bring particular expertise to cases requiring accurate hurricane wind, storm surge, rainfall, and flooding assessments. My 20+ years as a college educator and research scientist enables me to provide my clients with comprehensive and accurate data – presented in a clear and concise manner – to support their unique case requirements.
CCMs complete a rigorous process to become certified by the American Meteorological Society, including written and oral examinations, ethics training, and communication training. There are less than 250 active CCMs in the United States.

Each CCM is required to pass open and closed book exams that contain questions on meteorology, ethics, and quantitative analysis. Dr. Hennon holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences from The Ohio State University (2003), an Masters of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from Purdue University (1996), and a BA in Aeronautics/Mathematics from Miami University (1994). He also served as a post-doctoral fellow and Visiting Scientist at the National Hurricane Center in Miami, FL during the mid-2000s.
